Regenerative Medicine
Definition: medicine focused on new treatments to heal tissues and organs, and restore function lost due to aging, disease, damage or defects.
The modalities of regenerative medicine take inspiration from endogenous compounds (chemicals originating within the body). The human body has a natural ability to heal itself in numerous ways.
“Nature is always more subtle, more intricate, more elegant than what we are able to imagine.” - Carl Sagan
I think this idea of viewing nature as the ultimate technology aligns with a lot of my beliefs in a variety of industries. I will be expanding upon this concept in upcoming posts about computing, manufacturing, agriculture, freshwater access, and more!

Exosome Therapy
What are exosomes? An extra-cellular vesicle that contains a multitude of compounds.
It appears that exosomes are a part of how stem cells work during differentiation.
The advantage this may have over stem cells is that it is not living matter. This eliminates the runaway risk of cancer where faulty DNA can cause tumors.

There are even more therapies and longevity tech available nowadays. I will continue to observe evidence about which modalities are proving themselves to be effective. You can expect a lot more about this topic in the future!
