Ego Development Theory
A psychodevelopmental perspective by Susanne Cook-Greuter
From an evolutionary standpoint, we have developed all of these cognitive skills to help us better survive in this world. The processes occuring inside of a human body are amazing, but comes with many flaws or drawbacks as nature usually does. We are not engineered for perfection and sometimes getting the job done good enough is what matters.

Postmodernism

Hyperreality by Jean Baudrillard
Closing Notes
The question I want you to ask yourself is.. what is your reality? What is your perception of your surroundings and the world? What biases have come to form in your brain to adapt and survive your circumstances? What experiences have made you this way? At the end of the day no one’s reality will perfectly align with another persons. Imperfection is the beauty in nature and this diversity is what brings us evolution, innovation, and the expansion of our existence. Question what assumptions you make and the conventions that you follow. Nobody is right 100% of the time. There are things beyond our reach of understanding and this humility goes a long way.
